No matter how much criticism the drama received, the director sure did know how to keep the audiences hooked with suspense in the air. With Jeena (Aisha Khan) committing suicide in the last episode, Mikael getting shot and Hamza Ali Abbasi finally recovering from a heinous ‘poisoning incident’ (also carried out by Jeena who was apparently madly in love with him) the 32 episode drama seems to be reaching its end today. This is it !!! Today is the last episode of #MannMayal at 8:00pm on #Humtv 😊 The hype is so huge, that the actors themselves are tweeting away: Mann Mayal flaunts a simple love story with a twist! ‘Love it or hate it, you just cannot ignore it’, is a tagline perfect for Mann Mayal. Some adored Hamza Ali Abbasi in a decent and over caring avatar of Salahuddin while others hated Jeena and Mikael with a passion! However, Jeena was not the only thing about Mann Mayal that the viewers disliked they also grew weary of the senseless storyline that became nothing but a total drag towards the end.

Mann Mayal TV Ratings Soar High Breaking Humsafar Drama’s Record! Hitting a record rating of 9.7, Mann Mayal soared high on the ratings charts, beating the critic and fan favourite, Humsafar that had a record rating of 9. Now I can spend the next couple of weeks constantly thinking about what’s going to happen next. The inspirational actor, Hamza Ali Abbasi also shared the news, thanking the audiences for all the support and love. He throws her out of the house and she goes back to Hyderabad, never to meet him again for years and years.” But then I analyzed every single one of the promos again, and realized that there is still a lot of story left to unfold. Mahira has been doing pretty decently so far, with a few mistakes here and there, but I’m not sure if she’ll be able to deliver in the next couple of episodes.Īfter watching the precap, my initial thought was “That’s it. There’s nothing worse than an intense scene ruined by mediocre acting. From the looks of the promos, we’ve got some intense scenes coming up, and while there’s no doubt that Fawad is going to rock them, I’m not too sure about Mahira. I’m worried about how Mahira Khan’s acting is going to play out in the coming episodes. I didn’t like that Khirad was constantly thinking throughout the whole episode, but I suppose that it has to be done in order to translate the emotions from the novel. The first scene in which Ashar is thinking was artfully directed, as was the last scene with Khizar at the beach. I already knew that Sarmad Khoosat is one of the best directors we have in the drama industry, but today’s episode still managed to wow me. It’s not hard for misunderstanding to find its way between these two characters. Add in someone like Khizar, who is bent on destroying Ashar’s life, and you’ve got a big problem on your hands. And then we have Khirad, a headstrong girl who is too proud to let her ego be trampled. And the biggest problem with his personality is that the he doesn’t know how to communicate with his wife, to tell her why he’s angry with her in the first place. Ashar is a man who is easily misled, his insecurities about his and Khirad’s relationship causing even tiny little things like Khizar’s complimenting his wife to put his mood off. I really felt the tagline of the show, “How fragile is the bond of love?” coming back again and again throughout the course of this episode. He has taken Sarah’s rejection to heart, and the only words he seems to remember from her tirade are “Tum Ashar ka muqabla kabhi bhi nahin kar sakte.” However, judging from today’s episode and the precap, Khizar ( Noor Hassan) is the real culprit. When I first saw the promos for Humsafar, my first guess was that Sarah ( Naveen Waqar) would be the one to cause mayhem in Ashar and Khirad’s lives. And yet, he still refuses to have a civilized conversation with her. When she asks him what she’s done wrong, he tells her that she hasn’t done anything. He has no reason to be angry at her, and he knows it too. And things are just going to get worse from here on out.Īshar spent all episode ignoring Khirad, and annoying me to no end. The romance that we’ve all been dying to see every week between Ashar ( Fawad Khan) and Khirad ( Mahira Khan) has offically come to an end.
